Dalton was deep into his studying when a sudden grip on his wrist jerked him back, cold metal sliding against his skin. That familiar tingle rushed down his spine like a warning siren. He didn’t need to look to know, he could feel it happening. His body was shrinking, softening, every inch of him becoming … Read more

“You tried out for what in my body?!” “I didn’t just try out,” Brandon said, munching on some chips. “I made the team. Coach wants me starting, I think.” He spoke so nonchalantly it made Tracy want to kill him even more. She yanked the bag of chips out of his hand. “Ugh, where do … Read more

Birthday Dinner

"You're not going to your own birthday party?" Edward asked his sister, Michelle. "I have an exam literally the next day, and I know if I go, Emily will make me take shots with her, and, ugh." "And these are your friends?" Edward responded. "You don't get it; they planned the whole night I can't just bail. Buuuut, if I fail out of med school Mom and Dad will freak, so it's an easy choice." Edward nodded in confirmation, but he was going to nod no matter what Michelle said. He loved taking her form, but his parents wont let him use his shapeshifting powers until he turned 18. With his sister covering for him, he knew there was no chance he'd get caught. A few hours later, Edward was staring awkwardly around the room as a bunch of people he didn't know sang him "Happy Birthday." His dress was squeezing his boobs, and he thought he was wearing a little too much makeup. His sister explained this was one of the few days she could wear 'full glam', whatever that meant. "Happy Birthday dear Michelle, Happy Birthday to you..." the choir of attractive men and women finished singing. He blew the candle out slowly as everyone cheered; for a moment, he understood why Michelle loved going out every night. Edward looked around, unsure of what to do next. It seemed like all the girls had begun talking amongst themselves. The girl closest to him scooched up real close to him, pressing her body against his. "Oh my God, Michelle, you're not going to believe who just pulled up in the same color as Melissa. Shoes and everything." Edward could only squirm, not used to having a girl excitedly rub up on him as she gossiped away. He sipped away at his drink to avoid talking. This ended up being a common tactic for him throughout the night. Tipsy was an understatement. Edward quickly forgot about the high heels and lashes. All he cared about now was who he was dancing with next.
