Ticket Puncher

“Tickets! Tickets!” The ticket puncher strolled down the aisle, dispensing punch holes to each and every passenger, including a stunning woman who nervously twiddled with her wand. As he approached her, puncher in one hand and the other outstretched expectantly for a ticket she didn’t have, he inquired, “Ticket, madam?” She paused for a moment before rising dramatically.

🎶 “Oh dear sir, of tickets I have none,
But hear me out before this ride is done.
I’ve traveled far from lands untold,
In search of stories bold and old.

But oh! What’s this? A twist in our tale!
With a flick and a swish, let’s set sail!
No harm meant, just a little fun,
Watch us vanish, watch us run!” 🎶

Suddenly, as she sang, the man and woman were running atop the train cars. “Why am I running, woooah!” A gap appeared; he instinctively jumped over it, and then the next. The woman ahead just giggled, her voice melodic and playful. She waved her wand once more, and suddenly they stood on the tracks. The ticket puncher couldn’t believe his eyes. “Get me out of here NOW!” he yelled over the roar of the oncoming train. “Turn around!” the girl said gleefully. He did just that against all his survival instincts, and in a blink, he was back on the train. He blinked a few more times, his eyelids heavy from long eyelashes. Looking down, he saw two smooth legs beneath a pleated skirt. The green tie the girl had worn now delicately adorned his body. He heard his own voice gently singing, distracting him from his now feminine form.

🎶 “Now off we dash through realms so wide,
With swapped roles on this magical ride.
Fare paid in laughs and a tale so bright,
Boundless journeys through the night.”🎶

She continued walking, ticketing the remaining passengers with delight, listening to their stories and inquiring about their travels. Meanwhile, a stunned man sat in his seat, grappling with a much softer reality.
