“I’m just wearing shorts and sandals; why’d that old lady tell me to dress up? You’re literally wearing the same thing!”
“Shorts and sandals, huh?” Kyle responded. He had to suppress a smirk as his clueless friend looked over his own outfit. Kyle tried not to let on what was going on.
Mitch kept walking after making sure his underwear wasn’t sticking out or something, with Kyle following closely behind his now petite friend. Kyle took his phone out of his pocket and began to adjust a couple more settings on the app. He didn’t like how Mitch’s voice was still so gruff; the voice was of an average woman, but Mitch made it sound so aggressive. Kyle turned the slider almost all the way up.
“Hey Mitch, you were all the boys’ favorite volunteer this week, huh?” Kyle teased to get a reaction out of him. “Yeah, I don’t know why. That whole church was extra friendly, aside from the old ladies. They usually like me,” Mitch answered without skipping a beat. Kyle couldn’t help but blurt out in laughter this time. “What?” Mitch answered, Kyle laughed even harder. It sounded like an adult voice actor voicing a child.
“Nothing, nothing… something on my phone,” Kyle responded through his laughter. “Whatever dude, you’ve been weird all day,” Mitch kept walking, Kyle made a mental note to adjust Mitch’s gait when he got the chance to tinker with the app. He didn’t want to do much more right now and mess something up. It took him a while to get to a product he liked; the awareness switch was just added fun.
The ‘boys’ arrived at Mitch’s house; they walked straight into his room. Everything was still the same if you took a quick look: the same Kobe poster on the wall and a few anime figures on the shelf. He even still had the Counter-Strike mousepad I got him. Mitch kicked off his sandals, scattering them among a couple of shoes and heels in the corner of his room. Mitch unhooked his bra under his shirt and threw it into the closet; Kyle had no idea how this worked with the awareness switch, but he wasn’t going to question it. Kyle took a seat on Mitch’s bed while Mitch sat in his gaming chair.
“Dude, we sold out all the cookies the church gave us on the first day; they thought it would take like a week. If we tell them we need a couple more days, think of all the time that…” Mitch rambled on about how much extra time they’d have to game, but that was the least of Kyle’s cares now that he had the reality app. He looked at all the makeup and nail polish scattered on Mitch’s desk. Kyle slid the breast size slider up and down as Mitch got into one of his long rants about the current meta of whatever he was playing.
