Andy looked at his phone in confusion; he’d never been to New York before and was expected to get around by subway. “What a headache,” he thought.
“It says to take the blue A, is that on the other side?” Andy mused to himself in his now angel-like voice. “But this one’s orange.”
Andy has the ability to shapeshift using just one strand of someone’s hair. He had signed up for a modeling job in New York City using his coworker’s pictures. To his surprise, they actually accepted ‘him,’ and now he needed to find a way to get to New York. He transformed into his coworker just before leaving, a fresh strand always proved the best results. Now he couldn’t hop on his flight, no ID.
After an interesting experience traveling up the coast as a pretty girl, Andy found himself in New York with nowhere to stay and no idea how to get around. Small girl, big city.
The showcase was in a few hours, but Andy knew it would take a while to figure out the Manhattan trains. He had been practicing his model gait since switching over to the feminine side. It hadn’t looked natural until he arrived in New York. Andy wasn’t sure if it was because he had gotten good at it or because everyone else was doing it too.
It had become so natural to him that he would forget who he was for a moment. He was just himself, as it had always been, exploring a new city. It was only when he locked his phone and caught a glimpse of the gorgeous woman staring back at him in the blank screen that he fully realized what he was attempting.
“Okay, gotta lock in,” Andy muttered, stuffing his phone into his purse and hopping on the train to the show.
